One in N

Use the One in N tool to reduce the size of your sample using Interval, Exact Count, or Percentage. The tool takes one in every N records.

All of these methods create a repeatable sample, provided the settings are exactly the same.

Interval

Interval selects every Nth record in the segment. For example, N=2 would select every second record in the segment. For example:

Exact Count

The Exact Count takes a specified number of records distributed regularly across the segment. For example:

Percentage takes a specified percentage of records distributed regularly across the segment. For example:
